A Study on the Otorhinolaryngologic Classification of the Leprosy Patients at National Leprosy Hospital


Abstract
Leprosy is a chronic disease of man, caused by Mycobacterium leprae. It manifests itself in
the development of specific granulomatous or neutrophic lesions in the skin, mucous membrane, nerves, bone and viscera.
The disease was known as early as 2000 B.C. in Egypt and has been present throughout the ages in most parts of the world and continuous to afflict more than 12 million people world wide and perhaps more than 50 thousand people in Korea. iThis stuby was carried out
2300 leprosy patients at National Leprosy Hospital for otorhinolaryngologic classification of the leprosy patient.
